Sean McLaughlin has been playing bass, drums, guitar, and keyboard since his teenage years, when an infatuation with legendary bands such as the Beatles, the Police, U2, and Joy Division lead him to pick up instruments and teach himself to play them. He quickly joined a band as a drummer, and eventually graduated to playing guitar and singing lead once he began penning his own songs. Upon meeting Nik, Sean switched instruments yet again, this time moving over to the bass--and it was a fateful moment, as the fit was completely natural.

Sean's unique style provides the drive in DIVVISIONS' sound, and his soaring backing vocals bring atmosphere and depth to the band's songs.
